Sensor Vials with Integrated Optical pH Sensors

Based on the contactless pH sensor technology from PyroScience, we offer ready assembled pH-vials with 4ml or 20ml volume. The pH sensor stripes are fixed at the inner side of the glass and is read-out using optical fibers from the outside. Separately available adapter ring ADVIAL20 and ADVIAL4 allows easy fixation of optical fibres connecting the vial to the new multi-analye FireSting pro optical meter from PyroScience.

The elongated shape of the sensors allows simultaneous measurements at different heights within the vial by simply sliding the adapter rings up and down. The sensor stripe is covered with an optical isolation protective layer to prevent interference with the measurement from e.g. external illumination or strong luminescent samples. The optical pH sensors are sensitive to a pH range of 2 pH units. Sensors are offered for two different ranges for pH measurements between pH 6.0 to 8.0 and pH 7.0 to 9.0.
