The compact PC-operated optical multi-channel oxygen reader FirePlate-O2 allows dissolved oxygen (DO) and O2 simultaneous
measurements in up to 96 channels. Supporting 96-well microplates with integrated oxygen sensors, it provides an efficient solution for your research needs with our dedicated measurement software for easy calibration and customization. Available are sterile flat-bottom and round-bottom 96-well microplates with oxygen sensor minispots immobilized in the center of the bottom of the wells, which are read-out contactless via the transparent bottom of the wells. Alternatively, our oxygen nanoprobes can be dispersed in medium and added to 96-wells microplates for real-time oxygen turnover rates measurements with contactless read-out. Simply place the microplate on the FirePlate-O2 reader, calibrate the oxygen minispots (in air)/nanoprobes (batch calibration in medium) and start temperature-compensated oxygen measurements in third-party incubators or on a shaker after fixation with the available adapter.

Innovative REDFLASH technology. The REDFLASH technology from PyroScience is based on the unique analyte-sensitive REDFLASH sensor materials. The REDFLASH sensor materials are excitable with red light and show an analyte-dependent luminescence in the near infrared (NIR). The REDFLASH technology impresses by its high precision, high reliability, low power consumption, low cross-sensitivity, and fast response times. The red light excitation significantly reduces interferences caused by autofluorescent samples. Further, the NIR detection technology significantly reduces interference with ambient light, known from the old blue-light techniques.
Supported analytes. This multi-channel reader is compatible with sterilized (EtO) transparent microplates with intergrated
oxygen sensor minispots from PyroScience. They are available with round- or flat bottom wells, with 270 µL (round) or 350 µL
(flat) volume and protection lid. Each well contains an oxygen sensor minispot of ca. 1-1.5mm diameter (without optical
isolation) immobilized in the center of the well bottom. Alternatively, our oxygen nanoprobes can be simply dispersed in the
medium/liquid in the 96-well microplates (without integrated minispots) and read-out contactless through the transparent well
bottom.

The integrated Pyro Data Inspector features additionally multiple functions like drift compensation or calculation of oxygen rates.
Incubator- & shaker-compatible. The FP-O2 multi-channel oxygen reader can be connected with the included USB cabel to a PC/laptop and used in third-party incubators and fixed on shakers with an adapater.
