The flat bottom oxygen multiwell plates OXMWP-96F have an integrated oxygen sensor minispot at the bottom of each well, allowing simultaneous oxygen measurements of 96 channels. The OXMWPs (multiwell oxygen microplates) are placed directly on the FirePlate-O2 device and read-out contactless through the bottom of the wells. This enables the determination of enzyme activities, environmental analysis, small-scale cell cultivation and process engineering.

Sterile sensor. This sensor was sterilized using ethylene oxide. It is delivered individually in a sterilization bag. In addition, the sensor is packaged in a light protective material for transportation.
Mulitwell plate with dark lid. The untreated polystyrene plates are delivered with a dark universal lid. The dark lid protects the oxygen sensor minispots and optical channels of the read-out instrument from excessive ambient light during the calibration and the measurement.
Oxygen Sensor Minispots. At the bottom of each well a oxygen sensor minispot with 1 to 1.5 mm in diameter is integrated. The oxygen sensor minispots are biocompatible, adhering to the well, ensuring non-invasive measurement of the oxygen content.
Easy calibration. A simple ambient air calibration can be performed within few clicks. For precise oxygen measurements we also offer ready-to-use calibration capsules (OXCAL). The accompanying software of the Fireplate-O2, the Pyro Workbench, provides accurate, as well as quick and simple calibration options.
