PyroScience offers two different types of temperature sensors. 

• Electric Pt100 temperature probes
• Optical temperature sensors

Pt100 temperature sensors can be connected to the meters via the temperature LEMO connection port and can be used for temperature compensation of all oxygen or pH measurements. 

For highly accurate temperature compensation, PyroScience offers optical temperature sensors based on an innovative technology utilizing temperature-sensing properties of luminescent indicators. Optical temperature sensor spots allow contactless measurements within closed containers through a transparent window. The contactless temperature sensor spots can be used for true temperature compensation of oxygen sensor spots from PyroScience, if both are glued into the same sample container and read-out simultaneously with a 2- or 4-channel FireSting devices.

Fiber-optic sensors represent needle-type sensors for temperature measurements where high spatial resolution is needed.
