PyroScience pH capsules at pH 2 and pH 11.00 (item PHCAL11) are recommended for calibration of optical pH sensors. One capsule will produce 100 mL of buffers solution. Always prepare fresh buffers for calibration as the buffer has no preservative and the pH will change over time due to microbial growth. Commonly used pH buffers used for pH electrodes (uncoloured and coloured) should not be used as they interfere with the pH sensor.
