These flow-through cells (PU=4 pieces) have an integrated pH probe for continues measurements of aqueous samples pumped through the cell. The cell consists of a Luer-lock T-Connector with a removable pH probe. The Luer-lock connectors allow direct connection of tubings with 3.2 or 4.8 mm inner diameter.

Our new precalibrated pH sensors can be used once without manual calibration in combination with a FireSting-PRO meter that enables pre-calibration pH measurements (older FireSting-PRO meters can be upgraded) in combination with the bare optical fiber SPFIB-BARE (NOT SPFIB-LNS). This enables straigthforward measurements under sterile conditions or in single-use applications. Simply integrate the sensor under sterile conditions and start measurements in your set-up. After first use of the precal pH sensor, the sensor can be continued to use after a manual calibration (mandatory). This new plug & play pH sensor solutions offers new customer-friendly applications in life sciences requiring sterile conditions.

pH range 5.0-7.0 This sensor is specified for the pH range 5.0-7.0. For detailed specifications, see the respective pdf file in the Downloads tab.

Precalibrated pH measurements In combination with the bare optical fiber SPFIB-BARE only, the pH sensor spots can be used once without a manual calibration. For precision pH measurements a manual sensor calibration is mandatory before the measurement.

No reference electrode needed. Based on the optical sensing principle (REDFLASH technology), the pH value is measured directly on the sensor surface without a reference electrode.

Optical isolation.This sensor type is equipped with an additional optical isolation protection layer. This layer reduces enhanced sensor aging and interference with the measurements in applications at high ambient light (e.g. direct sunlight, illuminated samples) and in fluorescing / light-sensitive samples.

Easy calibration. Calibration of the pH sensors is performed at pH 2 and pH 11 using our easy-to-use calibration capsules (PHCAL2 and PHCAL11). For detailed calibration recommendations, please refer to the manual in the downloads tab.

Sterile sensor. This sensor was sterilized using 25kGy beta-radiation and is delivered in separate sterile packagings.

Standard stock item. This item is typically in stock and small numbers can be shipped quickly. This does not apply for larger amounts, which ship with standard delivery time.

Temperature compensation. Due to the cross sensitivity to temperature changes, the temperature compensation of the pH flow-through-cells can be realized:

• Using our flow-through-cell with integrated optical temperature sensor (TPFLOW) and connecting it into your stream shortly before/after the pH sensor.
• Using a Pt100 temperature probe and measuring the temperature of the sample shortly before/after pumping it into the flow-through cell.
• Keeping the sample at a constant temperature using a thermostatic bath and using fixed temperature in the software.
