The fiber-optic temperature sensors rely on thermal quenching of photoluminescence and are optimized for the innovative REDFLASH technology from PyroScience. The optical temperature sensors are characterized by extreme photo-stability, small size and do not show interferences with gases (such as oxygen) and ionic species.

Screw cap probe. For easy and sustainable renewing of the sensor after demanding applications. Replacement screw caps can be found under accessories. Tip diameter 4mm.

Temperature range. This sensor is specified for the range of 0 to 50°C. Measurements at higher temperatures are possible, but the sensor specifications are not valid for temperatures out of this range.

Optical isolation. For applications at high ambient light (e.g. direct sunlight, illuminated samples) and in fluorescing / light-sensitive samples, an additional optical isolation (-OI) protection layer is added to the sensor surface to reduce enhanced sensor aging and to avoid interference with the oxygen measurements

SUB-connector (-SUB). Underwater sensor connector (instead of standard ST-connector) needed for applications with underwater devices.

Good value. This product is a basic sensor for applications with no special requirements (like ultra fast response times, resistance to solvents, low detection limit)
